Emerging Church

I recently read a blog regarding John MacArthers new book and the Emerging Church. I know little about this Emerging Church thing, I am curious to find out what it is all about. I have been out of the Church world for a few years and am just getting back in and finding that some things have changed in the mean time. My new church seems to be very accuarate and applicable. It is hard for me to imagine that people would call something God's church without holding up His Word as truth, but it happens.
